A quiet bit of real instrumental ska music.

"I enjoy this album on a pretty regular basis. I mostly listen to Jamaican root-style ska and reggae and I had never heard of this band when I picked it up at my local music shop many years ago. It is mostly orignal tunes, and its recorded in a very low tech sound, remniscient the old Studio One vinyl albums. Since you don't know me, let me just say that I have been listening to ska ravenously since 1988. I have over 1000 albums of ska. I own *nothing* by No Doubt or Goldfinger or any of those [..] bands.
The playing here is tight, the tunes are good, and the sound is authentic. I'm not sure at all why this album isn't more well known, but it should be. Perhaps it is the cover, which does nothing to evoke the warm, groovy feeling contained within this music.
anyways, if you enjoy Hepcat, The Skatalites, Jump With Joey or anything of that vibe, you'll probably want to hear this humbly beautiful album."
