"Healing Hands is a very refreshing statement of music from Norman Hedman's Tropique. The star here, to my ears, is Andrienne Wilson. She is a performer whose abilities demand much more recognition. Listen to her on "Alone in Love with You"-the rich peaks and valleys of her multi-octave range are far beyond many of today's vocalists. The song is emotionally powerful and brings tears to your eyes. Listen also to her flute performances-Andrienne is a very distinctive voice on this instrument. Her flute begins the striking "Snake in the Grass". Buy this CD and leave the sameness of so many of today's Jazz releases behind with Andrienne Wilson and Norman Hedman's Tropique as your guides."
