"I adored all the music from Final Fantasy 7,8, and 9, but I did not have enough money to import the soundtracks. As soon as I saw this CD, I just had to buy it, and I am VERY glad I did.
All the tracks on this CD are exceptional. The piano tracks are exilant, along with the all the others. This CD brought back many fond memories from the game, including Aeris' death and Squall's triumphant speech. This is definitly a CD that any Final Fantasy player must buy!"
BUY ME!!!

"If you have money and are looking for some good Final Fantasy music, this is undoubtedly one of the CDs you must buy. I bought it and every track has amazed me. It covers songs from Final Fantasy 7-9, including One Winged Angel in an AWESOME arranged version, a nifty rendition of Laguna's Theme from 8, and (my personal song from 9 on this CD) Unrequited Love done in Piano. Buy this CD if you want good music. I'm gonna buy FF: N Generation when I get my chance."

"This CD is probably the best Final Fantasy CD I've ever heard. I originally bought this for the FFVII tracks, but as I listened more, the more I enjoyed it. Even if you're not used to all the songs, they really grow on you because they are done so well. The direction, the orchestration, everything was done close to perfection. I personally like the FFVII theme song because they gave so much life to it. It's hard to put it into words, but once you hear it you'll know what I mean. Aerith's theme is done very well also, and there's enough length on the track to satisfy anybody's appetite. The only beef I have with this game is that they didn't add "Prelude". I believe that is a major Final Fantasy staple, but other than that, I absolutely enjoyed the CD and I believe you will, too."
Very Nice

"Final Fantasy is known for 2 things over any thing else, very involving stories, and wonderful soundtracks. This case is no different and really nice. This is in some ways the best of and in others questionable. The music on here are remixes of the origional scores from the games, in this case games VII, VIII, and IX.Of course like so many cd's out there, there are tracks that surpass the rest. This once again demonstrates that case. Here are the tracks that I deemed the best.Track 1: Final Fantasy VIII opening.
Track 3: Final Fantasy VII World Map
Track 5: Final Fantasy IX Fight theme
Track 8: Angel Sephiroth
Track 13: Aeris Theme. However just because those tracks are the best does not mean that rest of the music is garbage. For the most part all the music is orchestra remixes. However as in the case of Track 5 it is more of a Techno style music, and in the case of Track 1 and 8 it is opera. Overall this is great music to have, no matter if you are into Final Fantasy or not."
No Final Fantasy fab should be without this CD!

"This OST, along with it's sister CD, are a collection of Nobuo Uematsu's greatest achievements. Every single Final Fantasy game has benefitted from his spectaular musical talent, and most of the songs are so good, you want to hear them over and over (and if you play the games, sometimes you have no choice ;) ). But his crowning achievments are on these two CDs, and no self-respecting Final Fantasy fan can go without these epic soundtracks.
Spooky mood themes, heart-pounding battle themes, tear-jerking personal themes, and even a few happy tunes you find yourself humming in the shower can make or break a game's mood. Uematsu has always done it right (and not just in FF, look at the Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross OSTs too) in a market where criticsm can be strong. But you will not regret the purchase of this CD, nor that of any other OST from Squaresoft.Buy it. Listen to it. Love it."
