CD ReviewsIt's alright hansonfr | USA | 11/05/2000 (3 out of 5 stars) "a few of the tracks are particularly strong, including my fave track "Don't Stop"...but there are a lot of ho-hum boring songs on this record too. It's half good, half bad." Not bad for a debut cd John Juergens | Minneapolis, MN USA | 01/11/2001 (4 out of 5 stars) "The 4 lads from So. Calif did a fairly good job on this one. It's a fairly good album, a little heavy on the R&B for my tastes, but I think that alot of people will be very happy with this one. The enhancements included on the cd will give you more information on the group" Still a good album! Edgy in most places! Preston | nc | 09/06/2004 (4 out of 5 stars) "I thought that No Authority made a good debut. I played it a lot for several years. But if I'd see it in the store, I'd buy it again. Rodney Jerkins, Fred Jerkins III (his brother), and others produced some solid songs here. Don't Stop, Up and Down, Girlfriend, Please Don't Break My Heart, the salt-shaker sounding If You Want Me are some very funky songs. The ballads have a hip-hop like funkiness to them too. I love their remake of DeBarge's I Like It. And from someone who remembered hearing the original DeBarge hit in 1983, it's quite good vocally. The next album wasn't as good as this first one. But they made quite an impression with this debut. I wished that they'd still be making music now instead of formally breaking up."
