"Okay, for the ignorant....Nirvana were formed in 1966 by an Irishman and a Greek(in London). They released 2 albums in '67 and '68. This was supposed to have been released in 1969, but their record company dropped them to go a more commercial route. A few advance copies of this album were leaked out in 1970 on Pye, but were then recalled. In 1987 it got a proper vinyl LP release, and then in 1993 got re-released on CD, with bonus tracks. It has nothing to do with Kurt Cobain. Musically, it's solid, well-written psychedelic pop with heavy(for the time) rock and classical tinges. If you're looking for 1 Nirvana album, I'd suggest "All Of Us" instead, but if you like 60s style rock, then you'd be an idiot not to get this."

"Yeah, this is not Kurt Cobain's Nirvana. It is a group from the UK that originally formed around 1967. They released a few albums here and there without very much success. The band split up a few times with a little solo work done by some of its members. When Kurt's band achieved international recognition the original Nirvana (UK) attempted a lawsuit against Kurt, which proved unsuccessful. The original Nirvana (UK) even got together long enough in 1996 to release a version of Kurt's "Lithium" that appeared on their CD of their unreleased tracks called "Orange and Blue"."
Not their best but worf a listen

"Good Prog Psych but not close to their best.
What, this isn't Kurt Cobain? You mean somebody over thirty years ago thought of calling their band Nirvana. Impossible, Kurt Cobain invented the entire concept. Come on dum dums. Have you ever heard of allmusic guide or reading the descriptions or branching out a bit? Try not to be such a bunch of retards."
