CD Reviews

More than just a goofy hick/punk album
Jack Knife | Pittsburgh, PA United States | 03/26/2005
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Man this record is right from the guts. From the heavy as hell sound to the great, often funny, but very real lyrics. Basically, just a bunch of Southern guys playing loud, kick a** rock/punk and telling you about where they come from. "Stranded On Tater Knob" is hands down one of the funniest, best rock songs ever. This album kicks you all over the place and leaves your ears bleeding and cheeks sore from laughing. Laughing in a good way that is. This is an album never to be matched again both by the originators or imitators. Although Kentucky Breakdown comes close!"
These guys RULE!

"I saw these guys as Sleazefest in Chapel Hill, NC a few years back, and there is no describing how much they rocked! It was freakin' crushing! They stomped all over yer balls dude! I totally freakin' ruled! Nine Pound Hammer rules yer (...)!"
NOTHING rocks harder, or is as fun!!!!!!!!!

"This country/punk CD kicks you in the junk and leaves you with a smile on your face! If you're a fan of bands like T**l you'll realize what a generic, sterile farce they are and repent of your ways. This is the best money you can possible spend on a CD if you like it heavy and serious/halarious! The band is from what they sing of and are genuinely disgusted with it. The backwoods horror, hillbilly, and red state lyrics can't be beat. I've owned the CD for 10 years and love it as much as when I first heard it."
