While Pastori's 1998 release Eres Luz consisted solely of guitar and vocals, Maria incorporates new elements such as jazz and salsa which makes for an exciting, diverse CD. I also discovered Nina Pastori while in Spain, she being a favorite singer of my boyfriend and all the locals. With strong, beautiful vocals and intoxicating melodies, Nina Pastori's Maria is bound to be a favorite.."
