I have belatedly discovered the greatness of many movie composers, and of these I believe that Piovani is first among equals. His music is great music, perhaps the most moving music being composed at this moment. Moreover he speaks to all ages. My teenage son loves his music as I do. Begin with this selection of his music. Then let the world (and me) know how you react."

Disenchanted impression

"I bought this CD based solely on the two reviews provided. I was hoping to find the composer's music up to the caliber of his work in the film "A month by the lake" (Which does not have a soundtrack) The entire set of selections from his previous work was monotonous and flat. I am moved by most kinds of music and my ears know when they hear melodious sounds. I am sad to report that was not the case with this CD. I am still in search for the CD that contains his music in the aforementioned movie."
