Mellow and relaxing but lacks the passion of earlier albums

"I love anything by Nicholas Gunn. However, this album is so-so and humdrum contrasted with The Sacred Fire and Music of the Grand Canyon. Those albums were absolutely moving and conveyed the passion and essence of the Southwest and its history - especially the ancient dwellers of the Grand Canyon. I still remember walking into The Nature Company and hearing The Sacred Fire for the first time - it was awesome and moving!! If you really want to listen to his music that captures that type of feeling and has more variety, I recommend those two albums."
