"I just got this yesterday at my local music shop. From the first note i knew that i was into something beautiful.I have known about Paganini's name but not his work & I must say from now on Im gonna be looking for more of his compositions. This CD is a duet of a guitar & a violin a very unexpected combination of instruments.ALLTHE SONGS are magnificent the guitar compliments the violin so well its unbelievable.The violin sounds very sweet & very much expressive when u hear it it will touch u deep down yo heart. The guitar moves along the violin so gently but is also clearly visible but gently but firm( Kraft tingles it as if he does not want to strum it so hard or is handling something very delicate).Hammer & Kraft are my new find in the music & they are highly praise worthy musicians from Canada & New York respectively with Kraft being a Professor of Music & Hammer occupying a high position in Canada music cycles.But I must confess I love the sound of Hammer's violin there is something about it that sounds so touching & Hammer becomes one with the instrument almost lyrical & yet Kraft's guitar soothes, end result? is virtuousness & tranquility at the same time. Buy this gem, the sound is excellent & liner notes in English & French are included together with profiles of artists. Very fulfilling Music."
