Renewed love

"I knew this record, as an LP, back in the 70's, as a young teen. Always loved it. By now the LP is completely worn-out.
When I recently found it on CD I immediately bought it. Now, a grown-up, with about 1000 classical-only CD's I was afraid to be disappointed - but not. This is still one of the most beautiful records I have heard. The lyrics (now I understand them much better..) are good, though some hebrew versions of those songs are better, the tunes are excellent, the musical arrangements are superb, but above all - this is a complete "Opus" - not just ten excellent songs. An integral work of art, still wonderful after all those years. Recommended, wholeheartedly."

"Music that one likes or not, it seems. I never liked classical, orchestral or symphonical (pop)music, but this one is the only exception. Great songs like Kemal, Dedication, N. Dame and Love Her have an invaluable strength and warmth, it's music for eternity. I never heard other music by the Ensemble, and I will not try other music of them, for it might break the spell."
