Originally broadcast by Radio Luxembourg in 1974, this 11 track live set shows the band at the height of their musical powers. Tracks include 'Personality Crisis', 'Looking For A Kiss', 'Puss 'N' Boots' and 'Hoochie Coochie Man'. 1999 release.
"Rather you're a new fan of the New York Dolls or an old fan, this live archive release is IT.Can never express just how much that I,personally love archive CD releases as such.Sort of lets us know that SOMEONE out there in the music industry is thinking of us TRUE rock&roll fans.'Live In...' was originally a radio broadcast that came from Luxembourg.Eleven power house cuts of pure full-hearted sweat-in-your-face glam punk is what the purchaser gets when he/she puts this disc in the player.Every tune is a winner, specially "Bad Girl","Pills","Vietnamese Baby","Chatterbox" and "Jet Boy".Recommended."

"At the end of December 1973 the Dolls recorded a live show in Paris France for a future radio broadcast. Sound quality of the recording is good and the band puts on an energetic show. If you're looking for a live recording, I would pick this Paris show over the Red Patent Leather show."
Best New York Dolls album BUT..

"You need to buy this on LP if you can. It's called "From Paris with Love." I've owned that album for a while and decided it would be nice to have a digital copy for driving in the car. I have to say though I don't know if the CD or MP3 is the same, but the LP has all the chatter which seems to be a good thing for once. It just plays the whole thing through instead of cutting to the song. Also I really feel like it just is clearer and more bassy than the CD.
This CD is still amazing in every sense. This is what really made me think differently of this band. It's raw and way better than their studio albums in my opinion. The songs have a darker presentation than the studio recordings. Check out "Chatterbox", "Vietnamese Baby", and "Bad Girl".
In summary if you are a fan of pure rock n' roll you should buy this. It's aggressive raunchy and heart-felt. One of my all time favorite albums."

"I like the New York Dolls but this cd sucks! Sounds like it was recorded with a tiny tape player. Get their studio cds!"
