"This is it! If you're looking for a CD for your Waltz dances, especially for your wedding first dance. This is 'D' one! Also perfect for beginners who're learning to waltz. All songs (vocal and instrumental) are in the range of 28-30 mpm. Very easy to follow and dance to. It took me several weeks to find this CD and it's well worth the time spent."
Does the job

"For the purposes of dance practice, this installment of the Best of Dancesport "Strictly Ballroom" series is just fine. It's nice to have a consistent set of waltzes, without anything too fast or too slow thrown in. 101 Strings does their usual competent job instrumentally. The singers are studio singers I've never heard of, who sing competently, if not memorably. These are covers of famous tunes, not the originals.
This is a good basic album to have around when you just want to waltz. (This is a normal and healthy desire, however, if you experience a need to waltz for more than 4 hours, you should consult a physician immediately.)"
Just what I wanted

"I ordered this CD to practice the various waltz steps. It is perfect, not too fast and a nice variety of waltzes, some vocal, all very useful in our quest to become decent ballroom dancers!"
