"One of the most underrated bands in Austin, The Nervous Exits are bearing down. With a baby face fronting and blues backing, the Exits walk the thin line between garage and punk with an electric slide and a wink." - AUSTIN CHRONICLE Exits are a rock `n' roll quintet from Austin who just played their first official SXSW showcase in 2006. A mutual love of punk and garage rock brought the band together as friends in their late teens. They went their separate ways for a few years, then coincidentally ended up in together again. This time around, a mutual love for the MC5, Captain Beefheart, and other adventurous sounds of the sixties and seventies inspired the guys to start a band. For the last two and a half years, the band has been screeching and howling across Texas, including one West Coast tour and three studio sessions. This is their first release, and they are already working on their second record.
