CD ReviewsNeil Zaza Ranks Among the Best Guitarists Alive James Choma | 12/21/2001 (5 out of 5 stars) "This is simply a fantasitc instrumental album. As soon as I heard "New, New Math", I was hooked. With every album he's released, he breaks new musical ground - adds something exciting and new to the clutter musical landscape. As a musician dedicated to his craft, developing his own identity and style, he's found it this album. Neil has put his heart and soul into every track. In his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio, Neil has achieved legendary status for good reason. If you're a fan of Joe Satriani, Yngwie Malmsteen, or Eric Johnson, Neil comes highly recommended - he ranks among the best. In a way, I feel jealous of fans of instrumental guitarwork who haven't yet heard of Neil... all of these great albums waiting to be discovered! "Staring at the Sun" is a great place to start." Awesome! Michael Smith | 12/28/2002 (5 out of 5 stars) "I met Neil in person when he performed in our little city. I bought this CD from him which hadn't even been publicly released yet. That was several years ago and I'm still listening to it today. While most people have never heard of Zaza before, hes far ahead of our times in musical capibilities, and should really be much more recognized as an artist. I give this an easy 5 stars." A must for melodic guitar fans. J. J. Bartolozzi Jr. | 11/30/2001 (5 out of 5 stars) "I second everything the previous reviewer said. I would also highly recommend seeing Neil live if you get the chance. He is a very good showman."
