Paco Bello's incredible singing and lyrics shine on "Nauta"

"Of the young Spanish "cantautores" (Ismael Serrano, Tontxu, Kiko Tovar etc.), Paco Bello (now known as Nauta) is the best. I first saw Paco singing "Pare Taxi" in El Retiro in 1995, and he sounded more like an American folksinger than anyone I'd ever heard in Spanish. This album includes a live version of "Pare Taxi" that makes you feel like you are in a club in Madrid singing along with Paco. This album contains a few great love songs with lines such as "Si eres lunes, yo te meto en mis horarios". Paco's writing style is both witty and intelligent. In "Hola, tu", we are all looking for "las maneras que hay de ser hombre, sin dejar de ser niño a la vez". These songs are like poems, and each one is a classic. If you like Serrat or Silvio, or even David Wilcox or Indigo Girls, you really should listen to Paco Bello and Nauta."
