"Nat Stuckey started his musical career in the late fifties becoming the band leader of a country group called The Corn Huskers, the hits came when he switched his first Sims label to the very famous Paula records, just in the late sixties, the compilation on this CD are from those years, he may be considered as a medium size hits artist but there are without a doubt great songs across his career, including on this CD we can enjoy Sweet Thang a top ten hit and Waitin'in the Welfare Line made famous also by Buck Owens, sadly Nat Stuckey passed away in 1988 when he was only in his early fifties. If you love Country the way it was in the mid-sixties this CD is a must for your collection."
