Superb Recording of Lalo's Ballet

"This is an excellent recoring of Namouna, as complete as possible. There were one or two numbers that were discovered and added to this recording. The music is lovingly played by the Orchestre Philharmonque de Monte Carlo, and David Robinson clearly knows the music. It is too bad Namouna has not been recored more often since the tunes Lalo wrote are ravishing; the next seems more beautiful that the one before it."
