Synopsis

Product Description
At first glance, usually from across a bar or concert venue, you might mistake the five members of NSDWHOA! for something that would be rather hard to swallow; an awkward antibiotic that looks too big to ingest in one attempt. But doctor s orders are doctor s orders and before you have any idea what happened to your opinion on the band, they're on stage doing what they arrived to do: Play a show that leaves you short of breath, amazed, and feeling awkward. This force known as NSDWHOA! (Buck Buckish - guitar, Bobby Tiny Pants Adams - bass, Walt Penish - vocals, Matthau Penish - keyboards, Dane Cochran - drums) was born a number of years ago in small-town Ohio, specifically Lorain, in a rather different incarnation. Like the story of most bands, there's been line-up and style changes, there's been tours, and there's been both little shows, and big. But all of that happened in the past. What NSDWHOA! is looking forward to is the future, and what bright and glorious things it holds for the Whoa clan. This year, 2008 will see the release of the first full length in the bands catalog and follow up to 2005's "The baby stealing hurricane that killed the consumer whores at the MTV beach house... DAY OF DOG - YEAR OF GNAR is a definite step forward for the bands ever-progressing sound; a mind-gaping experience that takes you through every catacomb and chasm of NSDWHOA s collective musical minds.
