CD ReviewsExcellent Indie Pop quiet_tempest@hotmail.com | Detroit MI | 02/23/1999 (5 out of 5 stars) "Having all ways been into the Canadian indie scene, I scooped up this album when "Brand New Song" hit the airwaves. It's brilliant. The grungy guitar licks blend well with the smooth vocals and the lyrics are beautiful. If you like Sloan, The Hip, Pure or Treble Charger, you will love this album. The best track is "Brand New Song" and every other track is good. The CD-ROM videos at the beginning are also great fun, with a live performance and home videos." A Time and Place Chad Mannlein | Burtchville, MI United States | 02/27/2002 (5 out of 5 stars) "This album is great but pales in comparison to its predecessor--"Glazed." Few songs can out do the beauty of "Glazed's" "Valley Song." Both of which have fallen into obscurity. 10 Speed was a great follow up and both records mark a time and place in one's life which both symbolic and immemorial. The songs not only rock but say something of depth about the human condition which is remarkable stride beyond most of the drivel that pervades main stream America. This record confirms my suspicion that the great bands are driven into oblivion while oblivious bands are driven to a flase pedestal of greatness. Slap this disc into your player and your record collection is almost complete. Find its predecessor and add Lync's "These Are Not Fall Colors" and you have all the music you need."
