"Not to get carried away with unbridled enthusiasm, but this is one of the most compelling and riveting albums I have heard in years. "Rosebud* Bullets" has it all: great songwriting, captivating lyrics, dark harmonies, odd meters, top shelf instrumental work, and at the center of it all Myshkin's haunting vocals. Her voice is dynamic, brimming with quiet, mournful intensity one minute and boiling over with impassioned emotion the next.
There are almost too many highlights on this album to mention. "Bluebird" is a quietly beautiful jazz tinged song in five, with Laura Freeman's eire harmonica floating above Myshkin's lyrical singing. On the other end of the spectrum is the explosive "Rosie", which combines a traditional sounding fiddle melody with a crashing punk rock backbeat and driving surf guitar."

red and blue.
blended scents of lilac
and crushed cherry... otherwise:
well produced,
sharp lyrics,
solid compositions that pull on a variety styles; inhabiting stories various above a busy intersection are shown to make fine neighbors.
swimingly.drop the cash. see myshkin live. and keep your mouth shut when you do. save your noise-making for that space between the songs. its the right thing to do."
