"It was about time for Myriam to release a greatest hits album, and there are several special reasons to give this cd 5 stars. To start, I think it's awesome how all the record companies were willing to each donate the songs that Myriam had recorded for them. With three different companies, it was no easy task to get the best of the best, but here it is. All the classics are here, from "El hombre que yo amo", "Ay amor", "Eres", "Te pareces tanto a el", "Peligroso amor" and "Herida" from her early EMI days. To the Warner era of "Se me fue", "Un hombre secreto", "Llorare", "Ese hombre". To the short Sony years with "Huele a peligro", "La fuerza del amor", "Mañana". Myriam has managed to pull almost all her greatest hits, but the only regret will be that there were other songs that simply didn't make the cut: "Quien cuidara de mi", "Deseo", "Leña y Fuego", "No te quiero como un amigo", "Y vete ya", "Si no fueras tu", "Corazon desorientado", "Quiero cantarle al amor" and "Quiero saber". For those of you who longed for these songs, I will suggest get some the compilations from EMI or Warner. There are new songs as well that complete the set: "He vuelto por ti" is an amazing tune with rich lyrics and a great vocal performance. And her current single "No te he robado nada" is a fresh point to take off this new album. "Mio" has been given new arrangements and sounds fresh and different (I still prefer the original version). Overall a great cd worth every cent for an artist that crafts love songs like no one else."
