Eight re-mixers have laid their hands on a dozen My Scarlet Life songs, and the result is called DANSE AMOUR, a full-length CD of ambient / dance (re)mixes. All the songs on this 3rd CD are radically modified from the original versions on My Scarlet Life's TRYPNOTICA and BUZZBOMB CDs. Eighteen re-mixers were given the original 24-track master tapes and told to go where-ever the muse lead them. Some of them kept many parts of the songs, but most kept only a few parts and "re-wrote" the material. Others radically altered the original versions. Many of the songs now have a more driving dance beat, some of them have a very contemporary drums'n'bass vibe, while others range from pure nearly-beatless ambience to a Gary Numan sound-alike! My Scarlet Life's plan was to choose the top ten remixes from those given them, but the band couldn't cut it down to just ten so they picked a dozen.
