A ramshackled masterpiece

"Matt Valentine and Erika Elder backed by over half a dozen like-minded musical explorers deliver a hallucinatory set of seven beautifully damaged acid-folk and primal blues songs for ghosts. J Mascis plays excellent guest Mellotron of two tracks, and some of the other Bummer Road members are Nemo Bidstrup, Tim Barnes, and Samara Lubelski. Pretty essential in a desolate rambling messily psychedelic sorta way."
How did I miss this

"don't cha love it when something comes along completely out of the blue and you wonder how you got along without it? A sound that is well worn and still distinct. This outfit picks up where Velvet Underground left off leading into the freak folk movement. This is an instant classic which may well slip into obscurity which somehow makes it all the more precious."
