CD Reviews

Definitely a sleeper album....

(5 out of 5 stars)

"Mark Anderson and Tamriko Siprashvili are both very fine pianists. On this album, they bring their unique interpretative abilities to bear on these two very well known works.

This recording has passion, lyricism and is grounded in a deep knowledge of the piano literature. The two pianists have a complimentary style that works well together.

I heard them play one of these pieces live and it was very moving. While some recordings are very technically correct, this one is both well executed while conveying a felt sense of the composers intentions.

Bravo!"
