The typical Mendelssohn selections from 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' and Wagner's Lohengrin are not included here, because they are discouraged in a sacred worship service - as advocated by the Book of Common Prayer."

"This recording captures the beauty of cathedral worship - actually transports you there in such a way that you not only hear the sound, but can smell the incense as is typically used often in Anglican and Catholic worship. This recording is of a quality that I can give a copy of this to people getting married and not have to worry about making a tape of my own! (I am a full-time minister of music/organist in a church.)"
