"I LOVE, LOVE this CD.

The ancient and powerful vibrations of the veena are ideal for experiencing deel tranquility.

I love to play this while I am at work or right before I got to sleep.

I don't know of any other recording that is so simple and beautiful.

Just try one track and you will be hooked."

"I don't know if I would use this recording for my meditation practice--the others from the series are better for this--but this recording is a jewel still.

Deep, resonant, masterfully played, the sound of the veena is soothing and peaceful. The Veena is not as famous as it's relative the Sitar, but I think it is much more soothing the sound it produces.

The Veena is actually one of the most ancient instruments from India.

Also the cover and art is lovely."

"I really enjoy this CD. I don't use it for meditation however, I enjoy it during my morning yoga practice. Track one eases me into my practice and other track like #4, which is a faster pace, keeps me moving and motivated. I also enjoy listening to the whole CD at dinner and when working. It has an healing effect that puts me in a calm and peaceful place when I'm doing other things and not sitting for meditation."
