"I love this CD. I had it on vinyl when I was a kid. This still sounds great but the sound on some of the tracks is obviously a recording from the 12" record. Of the 55 tracks, 53 sound great and 2 sound a bit worse.
All in all, it is a great recording and I love listening to it."
Excellent! None better

"If you enjoy military music in general and fife and drum music in particular, this stirring CD is the one to buy. You will find none better. The sound is great and the selection is all you could ask for in one album. I defy any fan of patriotic music to listen to all or part of this CD and not be moved in some way."

"This cd is a top notch production of Colonial Fifes and Drums.
There are many tracks to satisfy even the most picky of music lovers.
Yes, Yankee Doodle Dandy is included and also the Star Spangled Banner. I 've never heard the National Anthem played by Fifes and Drums. Beautiful.
This cd is recommended!"
Fife and Drum sounds

"If you're looking for music with a colonial sound, then this is it. As you listen to the sounds of the fife and drums, you can imagine yourself walking through Colonial Williamsburg, or picture the British and American soldiers marching to the beat of the drums. We had this playing for our 4th of July party as the guests arrived. Our home is colonial looking and we decorated the front windows with fan flags. It had a very patriotic atmosphere with the music playing."
