Dazzling brilliance !

"Although my first contact with this awesome Schubertian piece was made by the recording of Murray Perahia (one of the most cherished pianists of our time), in order to be objective, and although I found his recording extraordinary, I decided to listen to this piece performed by other pianists. I listened to Andre Watts and Claudio Arrau. Without underestimating their value, personally speaking, I think that Murray Perahia's recording is better than theirs. Great rythm, dynamics and expressional fluency are some of the endless pianistic values of Mr. Perahia. You can find them all here, enclosed in this piece of true heroism, melancholy and virtuosity. The CD is a definite buy, if you want to deeply enjoy Schubert."
