Voices was recorded in Autumn 1981 and features a very impressive line up of musicians including legendary guitarist Jeff Beck along with Fairport Convention band members Dave Pegg, Dave Mattocks, Simon Nicol and Richard Thompson . Caravan members Geoffrey Richardson and John Perry as well as Rupert Hine also contribute to this unique recording. Murray's purpose in making this album was to blend different voices and strive to make them become one. Murray was reunited with Paul Samwell-Smith and Alun Davies for some of the tracks on this predominantly acoustic album. This is the first time that the album has been available on CD and it has been digitally re- mastered for this format. With stunning artwork it is sure to appeal to Murrays' large and loyal fanbase.
