"I have heard every Murray Head album and this one is his best. Not only that it is the best album I have heard in ages. It is worth every penny and it is an album that is filled with passion, heart and soul.
Here is a breakdown of the songs:
1) Seras-Tu-La - 9/10 - This is one of 2 French songs on the cd. I don't speak or understand French, but I loved this song. It is very upbeat & catchy.
2) Crystal Heart - 6.5/10 - This is one of weaker songs on the album. Ok to listen to, but nothing special.
3) Tornado - 9/10 - In this song Murray wishes a tornado would come and take him away from all his problems. Kind of a Wizard of OZ influence to it, but very strong lyrically & musically, despite its influence.
4) Love Yourself - 8.5/10 - a very upbeat, positive song that is very inspiring and enjoyable to hear.
5) Little One - 10/10 - a masterpiece. About seeing wisdom, beauty, innocence and love in a little child and wanting to be inspired and guided by her.
6) Loin Demain - 6.5/10 - nothing special about this song.
7) Who Do you Think You Are - 8/10 - a very highly charged political song about likely George Bush and the Iraq War. A Good Rocker.
8) I Believe in Stories - 9/10 - A song about the lost art of storytelling. A wonderful, upbeat tune.
9) That's Rich - 10/10 - Another masterpiece. A song about looking back at the mistakes his generation made. A very strong song musically & lyrically.
10) So Strong - 9/10 - Another great tune about love.
11) Lost My Baby Tonight - 6/10 - a so so song. Weakest track on the cd.
12) This Face - 7.5/10 - a personal heartfelt song that ends the cd on a strong note.
Get this cd. It is truly a gem.
