"After a gap of five years Mundy has produced a wonderful follow up to Jellylegs. 24 Star Hotel was garnered from recordings over a couple of years and is dedicated to the memory of Mic Christopher another Irish singer/songwriter who died in 2001. The album starts off in a laid back mood with the excellent Rainbow and is followed by the drum loop driven Drive. From here things get really good with Addicted, the wonderful Anchor The Sun, the brilliant hit single July, and the wonderfully sombre Linchpin. This is followed by a further 6 songs including Mexico an obvious lift from Come Up and See Me by Stever Harley, but nontheless a great song. I would wholeheartedly recommend this album as it was not out of my CD player for the first 2 weeks I had it. Mundy has also recently beaten Bono to the Best Male Vocal Award in the Irish Meteor Music Awards which is no mean feat. Buy this album, but give it repeat listenings as it gets better and better each time."
