"Since I was young in the 70's and 80's, Christian music was always this cheesy stuff. The lyrics were pretty much the only thing that made me listen to Christian radio from time to time throughout the 90's. Even now, I consider myself lucky to hear 1 great song in a one-hour period of listening to Christian radio. As I love music, it's always been my wish for good christian music, but the bands always seem to be a decade behind in music styles and while quoting the Bible in a song can be truly amazing, God also gave some people the talent and ability to write amazing songs of their own. So where on Earth are they? Well, I just discovered Mukala and thank God for them! This album is great for anyone who think Christian music is fromage! If you like Mukala, try Luna Halo, and Smalltown Poets. Electronica fans, try out The Echoing Green, Raze and Nitro Praise. And if you relate to my frustration with finding sweet music, email me more bands for me to check out."
Mukala is great.

"Mukala is one of the most underated bands anywhere. The best songs are probably 'Soap' and 'Original Sin'. As far as I'm concerned there is not a bad song on the CD. I think this is one of those 'gotta have it' CDs."

"Not your average CD, but a good variety and their own unique brand of music. I liked skip to the end, original sin, and of course soap rocks."
Funky and fresh track to track

"Just looking at the cd case, you know that you are in for something funky. This group uses a combo of sounds and techniques to make a really slamming cd. After the 2nd or 3rd track, i was getting a little worried that the sound was going to be repitious, but the boys pulled through. Soap has got to be my personal fav. Keep an eye on this band - bold, clever, and NOT ASHAMED!"
