The two composers who created much of the classical repertory for solo clarinet were Mozart and Von Weber. In this CD, we are offering an outstanding performance of these two concertos by the Bartok Quartet and the Waterloo Festival Players and Charles Russo. Charles Russo is a major and much sought after freelance clarinetist. He has performed with a long list of festivals, orchestras and chamber music ensembles. His discography includes more than one hundred recordings on many and various labels. They span the entire stylistic range of the clarinet and have influenced a whole new generation of performers.
