"Move Into Villa Villa Kula is an essential mix
of riot grrl, spoken word, punk, pop & folk.
The majority of tracks on here are excellent,
the only ones I didn't really warm to were
the spoken word tracks by Eileen Myles.
Standout tracks include "You 'Aint It!" by
the ever brilliant Sleater-Kinney, the beautiful
"Erica" by Tattle Tale and "Peyton Versus Your
Boyfriend" by Kaia.
The artists on this CD may not be household names,
but that's the beauty of it. There's something
here for everyone."
