"I was dumbfounded to hear this CD. WHO ARE THESE GUYS??? WHO WROTE THIS PIECE? WHY DON'T WE HEAR MORE MUSIC LIKE THIS? Robert Breault, the tenor (who is sadly not even listed here) is simply incredible. I can't even begin to describe this voice....pure heaven....artistry beyond any I've ever heard. Everyone should own this CD. I simply wept. Thank GOD for Amazon.com."

"This approach to the requiem is fresh and delightful! R. Smith's Mountain Requiem is uplifting and is the perfect music for a rainy day. The tenor soloist, Robert Breault, adds such beauty to the piece with his outstanding talent. Full of brightness and vitality, Breault's is truly a remarkable voice. I truly savor the beauty in every sound I hear when he sings. The Mountain Chorale adds such loveliness to the piece as well, and it is such a pleasure to hear soloist and chorus together. Overall, this piece lacks pretension and invites the listener to accept it for its beautiful and striking simplicity. It is an absolute delight to listen to...I highly recommend it!"
