A must buy-live Mountain at their finest

"For some reason Amazon has messed up the title...This is actually Mountain-Vol 7 Woodstock Festival/New Canaan H.S. 1969 and shows Mountain at the peak of their abilities...too bad the 6 Woodstock songs suffer from drop outs..the music disappears when the singing starts..but the vocals by both Leslie and especially Felix Pappalardi sound excellent..it'll make you cry that this great singer was taken from this world by his jealous wife so soon..But the New Cannan show sounds very good actually and is worth the price alone to anyone into Mountain..both the bass and guitar are very clear and the sound is very balanced..use your narrow band filter and the tape hiss disappears appreciably and enjoy all the best Mountain songs done will real fire like only a new band can...the Woodstock recording is a very nice bonus...and play it loud!"
Wrong tracklist & title

"Sounds like a cleaned-up bootleg.
This is not the Capitol Theater; it's Woodstock and New Canaan H.S.
And the tracklist is 17 songs - completely different from what's listed.
For the completist...(sigh) like me."
Vintage Early Live Mountain is Cool!

"Although some audio elitists may denegrate the sound fidelity on this, for Mountain enthusiasts, this is dynamite stuff! The quality is actually good, if you cut the high hiss out. These are probably the two earliest recorded live Mountain gigs in existence; Woodstock being about their fourth or fifth gig and New Canan H.S., a month later, being the first gig with Corky Laing in the group on drums. These live gigs show the cool power, style and class of Mountain in their early stage, which later, even developed further."
The worst so far!

"What a rip off!! Sound is in the tank for most of this garbage. How can they package this stuff and sell it?? How could I have bought it. If you want a pretty good sounding Mountain bootleg get the New years show. It at least can be heard!!"
