"So is the title translated into English. I restate my opinion when I said that Keiser... was the best Mortiis Album. (Read my review) I had not heard this when I said that. Even though this is the shortest Mortiis album, (clocking in at 39:39), both songs are incredibly long. The first (and best, in my opinion) "En Mørk Horisont" (A Dark Horizon) is over 21 minutes long. The second (and also very good) song, "Visjoner av en Eldgammel Fremtid" (Vision of an ancient future), is over 18 minutes. The music stands out in its epic majesty. It tells the tale of a tyrant who ruled his kingdom. This is told through the moving melodies and Mortiis's chants in the middle of the songs. I don't want to drawl on, so I'll leave it with this. Though this may cost more than the other Mortiis albums, you will be PLEASED when you hear it when it arrives at your door."
The best album from mortiis!!!!

"This album is very athmosperic and imaginative. It is very epic and powerful. The music is brilliantly composed and the production is very good. This is definately one of the best ambient albums ever, if not the best. It surpasses acts such as Dargaard, Arcana, Wongraven, Weltenbrand and Die Verbannten Kinder Evas which are all premium ambient darkwave BM bands.
Even if you don't like ambient, this album will surprise you and is definately worth the $40 Canadian dollars that I paid for it."

"I just got this CD as a birthday present, and it really rocks. The amazing soundscapes, ambient synths and enthralling melodies create an extreme scandinavian atmosphere. If you ask me, Mortiis is the greatest ambient artist ever."
