Album Description2008 edition presents two rare consecutive 1963 albums by the great Clark Terry (the first of which features Ben Webster), appearing here on CD in their entirety and with the correct track order for the first time ever. Three tracks, 'More', 'Meditation', and 'Sweet Juke', have never been previously issued on CD. More is one out of seven existing collaborations between Clark Terry and Ben Webster. Ben Webster is not present on Tread Ye Lightly, Clark Terry's following album after More, but filling the tenor chair we have another important musician: Seldon Powell, who first recorded with Terry in 1960 and would work with him on and off for the next thirty years (their last recordings together were made in 1990). On both albums we have Dave Bailey on drums, who was well known for his extensive work with various Gerry Mulligan groups. Lonehill Jazz.
