CD ReviewsBargain Bin Gem 02/12/2004 (5 out of 5 stars) "I picked up Monkeywalk's "MORE" at HMV's East 86th Street store (sadly no longer there)in the discounted sale bins and it is probably one of my 2 to 3 favorite unknown artists CDs. A Canadian band who don't seem to be together any longer, features great songwriting, gravelly vocals and harmonies and really good instrumental work. Rare to hear a rock based group use a muted trumpet especially on a tune titled 'Panic Temporary' but it works and really sets the tone for the CD. May not be everybody's cup of tea, but even after a few years, it's like a breath of fresh air every time I pop it in." Best band you never heard Phillip J. A great album- every song is good, catchy and the whole album leaves you wanting "more". It's smooth but with just enough edge. Stands up to repeated listenings.
