Great jazz dedicated to jazz greats

"Monk Rowe has done a wonderful job with this album. Rowe has conducted and witnessed almost 200 interviews with jazz greats from around the country. Many inspired him enough that he has written songs for several of them (including Clark Terry, Buddy Tate and Lionel Hampton). Six other jazz musicians joined him for this recording, the result a beautiful horn section and a soild rhythm section. The music is catchy and exciting to listen to. Also, this is the type of album you will listen to over and over again and never get tired of it. It is truly a fantastic CD"
