Originally released in 1984, original Danny Joe Brown had returned to record this album after a brief absence, in which singer Jimmy Farrar had taken over on vocal duties. In the early 1970's, a new form of music was emerging in the southern states of the USA. The music was filled with style and emotion, and bands in the forefront of Southern Rock were The Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and a band from Jacksonville, Florida called Molly Hatchet (named after a famous 17th century axe murderess Hatchet Molly, who would behead her lovers with the handtool Lizzy Borden made famous). 12 tracks.
