No, it doesn't have too many great songs. That's why it only gets 4 stars. HOWEVER, I do not believe that the songs are at all meant to be listened to individually. The structure is FAR stronger in the album as a whole than in any individual song. In other words: don't buy this album to listen to the songs. Buy it to listen to the album. Taken as a single piece of music, it's simply unbelievable." |
