"Moe sounds like she's having a ball, with guest shots from her pals in the Velvet Underground and Violent Femmes. There are ghostly echoes of the Velvets sound -- chiming guitars, scraping violas, booming drums -- but Georgia's a long way from New York: there's a wonderful cover of "(And) Then He Kissed Me" to balance out "I'm Waiting for the Man." And titles like "Lazy," "Too Shy," and "Stayin' Put" indicate Moe's not eager to move back to the city any time soon. Worth tracking down for your next party."
