"I bought Collabroation on vinyl when it first came out and have been looking for a CD of this recording for years.

Laurindo Almeida is in terrific form on this set. One Note Samba is a classic and is not to be missed by Bossa Nova fans.

This is one of the MJQ's best records and I highly recommend it.

I am writing this based on my experience with the album as the CD will not arrive for a few days.

As for Porgy and Bess, I am sure it is up to MJQ standards. Gotta go check the mailbox."
