"Here it is--another great set of numbers from Mr. Boogie Woogie Piano himself, Mitch Woods. It's hard to single out particular songs when the CD just swings from start to finish--I was sorry when it was over.
Mitch also has a few special guests on this one--and I do mean special ! John Lee Hooker--James Cotton--Johnnie Johnson--Earl King--Lee Allen--this disc is bursting with talent.
A couple of years ago, I saw Mitch and his band at the Ottawa Bluesfest, and was knocked out with his music and showmanship--these guys are fun ! I immediatly went out and bought all the Woods CDs I could find. I didn't see "Keeper of the Flame" though, so I'm pleased to add it to the collection.
So--what are you waiting for ? Order it !
Oh yes--if Mitch comes your way to play a gig, don't miss it. Rock on, Mr. Woods !"
