Brilliant return to form!

"I have been a Mish fan since 1987. The first three albums hailed them as the next Led Zeppelin! Gods Own Medicine, Children and Carved in Sand really rocked. Then members changed. Masque was good but I gave up after that. What started as stadium guitar rock was turning to mush. All Wayne had to do was find a new guitarist! Instead this "band" fell into obscurity. U.S. audiences would often pass them off as "Goth" wannabees. I never heard them on U.S. airwaves. In fact, I was the only one who would lend an ear to these lusciously produced Rock classics.
Then came Aura in 2001. This had a return to form of sorts. Mystical, psychedelic, sexual and harder with Wayne H's fabulous vocals. I began to see who the Mission UK were. This man is part madman/part genius! He needed a band to support him. I think he's found it after all these years!
Now God is a Bullet is finally where this band belongs! It is not a comeback, indeed it surpasses all other work. They have never been so fluent with with guitars, until now. "They" are the new band members who Wayne should have met in 1993. However the time is now. 20 years after Gods Own Medicine. The production values are as rich the earlier efforts. The style is back to basic production values, which were nothing short of sophisticated stadium anthems!
The lyrical themes on this album are heavy as ever. Drugs, incest, cross dressing, and the depths of madness are touched upon. Most songs could be singles. Almost like a tragic fairy tale, hard and heavy songs come one after another. Complicated? You bet! Listenable? Todays record market, for the most part, would not like it. It is musical "Absolution" for the few fans here in the U.S. Fans of H.I.M. may find this worthy of a listen. What a concert tour that would make!"

"I'm a huge fan. So this adds to my collection I started since about 1989.
Wayne still has the touch with all his music. I recommend it. Now if we can just get him to tour the US in the south. That would make it better. :-)"
