"Linda Carlsson or "Miss Li" released three albums in just about one year's time. Disc one of this collection presents some of the finest moments from these records. This young Swedish singer/pianist/songwriter's wonderfully tuneful combination of pop, jazz, polka (and whatever else She feels like throwing in to the mix) is as tough to pidgeonhole as one might expect of an artist who counts Hank Williams, Kate Bush, The Monks & Edith Piaf among her influences.
Disc two collects eight equally catchy non-album tracks and, the inclusion of her version of "Good Morning" is reason enough for those who already own the three albums to pick up this set.
If I have one complaint about this two disc set, it's that the songs are short enough that it all could have fit on a single CD with room for the wonderful "I'm Glad I'm Not A Proud American" from "God Put A Rainbow In The Sky". But,since it's easy to find this collection at a lower price than the individual albums, that's a pretty minor gripe.
So "cheers" to the fruits of Miss Li's first year and I for one hope for many more."
