"Misia has created a "Soul Hype" in Japan when this CD was first released in 1998. Her crisp and sweet voice was the spotlight of the year. Being nominated as "The Best Female Artist of 98" in Japan when she was only 20 years old, her music was shared and greatly appreciated by both young and older audience. Watch for her 2nd upcomming album on Jan/2000, "Love Is The Message", it will be another wave of the new millilenim!"
A refreshing break from the norm

"J-Pop can at best be world leading and ground breaking in its musical direction. Unfortunately, it can also be lifeless, thin and insulting to the ears. Misia sits closer to the former than the latter with a rich melodious voice let down only by below-par arangement on some of the tracks. Worth buying at the cover price but not a penny more."
This woman can definitely SING! And she is sensational!

"Some years back during my stay in Japan I was used to hearing average singers in Japan. Some were good, and others not so good. Then one day a Japanese friend of mine showed me the singer named MISIA. On that glorious day I was enlighted and opened up to this sensational singer.
I'm African American, and I don't speak Japanese, although I understand a little. But even if a person cannot understand the language, Misia's songs are still moving and motivational. Her vocal range is so high. I'd say she's a 5-octave singer!!
If you are looking for an artist who puts soul and depth into her music, Misia is definitely marvelous and the one for you. I highly reccommend this CD. (For OPEN-MINDED listeners ONLY)

"Very easy listening and refreshing songs, sort of pop, R&B, and the artist has a great voice and ability to express it in an innocent way. I think it's worth every penny to buy this album. I first listened to it on April 1999, and I still listen to it right now and never get tired of it. It grows on you, I guess."
