A whole nother ballgame

"I've been into electronica for years now. Trance has become my ... choice in the past 3 to 4 years. This cd set however takes a turn. It is trance although the first cd has a mini house session from tracks 3-7. The songs especially on the first cd are much darker than typical trance. Their beats are more intraquete and their mood soaked with macabre. For a club, or a hard dance session, this set works very nicely. The beats are pulsating, and driving, not wimping out under its title of hard nrg. In the end, I favor this direction of trance. Maybe calling it Hard Trance. It sparks something on the inside. Although other sets have a couple of songs on them or you hear one here or there, I've never heard such a massive culmination of this style. ..."
